- Under the Democrats' health care bill, if a medical school wants to increase its chances of receiving many different kinds of grants and contracts from the federal government, it should have a demonstrated record of training individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups. This is because the Democrats' health care bill requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to give preference to the entities that have demonstrated such a record in the awarding of these contracts to medical schools and other institutions.

Should that really surprise anyone? Affirmative action is nothing but affirmative discrimination and always has been. And the American taxpayer who is discriminated against the most? Pays for it.
Locutis,
Of course, this particular manifestation of racism is nothing new. And should it surprise anyone? Not if we were all diligently civic-minded. But I expect it to surprise many! Our liberty chokes out desperate gasps for what may be her dying breaths primarily because too many are uneducated (as opposed to untrained) and know neither the significance nor the extent to which tyranny, so natural to the corrupt heart of man, has slithered all manner of diseased tendrils into our government, even our culture, and around our throats.
